Drive on!
This month's secret book theme is Vehicles! We believe that this is a great theme for boys and girls and that certain stereotypes about only boys liking cars and rockets etc. is just rubbish! Take a look at the books below and see! Emma Jane's Aeroplane and Red Boat are two wonderful books that have girls as the protagonists and so they should!
We're also very proud to be supporting Variety! They improve the lives of children and young people throughout the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. Remember, for each package we sell this month, we give a donation to this wonderful charity.
This brings me very smoothly on to my next point. From next month onwards we will removing the craft that we often include in our 2 book package and increasing the amount we give to charity. We decided that this would improve the impact we have and reduce our environmental impact. As always, we welcome your thoughts on this and hope that we haven't disappointed too many people by taking away their little extras. As always, the quality of the books and our presentation will never be compromised. Plus we now have our reward scheme, which allows people to get free books for just being a member! So that's more books and more charity donations... not bad, eh?!
