Let's Be Friends!
This month's Happy Book Club newsletter includes:
The books we included
This month's charity
Two giveaways
Our customers will have had another wonderful collection of books posted through their letter boxes this month. March was also the first month where we sent out our new, more-affordable range, allowing even more families to relish in reading together.
So that's:
Happy Book Club Package - 1 book and activity suggestions beautifully wrapped and sent each month
or
The Very Happy Book Club Package - 2 books, activity suggestions and a free craft/gift.
Both come with a charity donation, as always. Do check out our new-look shop here!
Anyway, back to this month. Here are the brilliant books we sent out this month.
As always, we're very happy with this month's selection. The Squirrels Who Squabbled is a beautiful hardback showing off the great partnership between Rachel Bright and Jim Field again. We have two books from Walker this month; The Zebra Who Ran Too Fast and Two Speckled Eggs - both of which tell important stories in sweet and approachable ways. Sylvia and Bird is a gorgeous classic from the ever-prevalent and award-winning Catherine Rayner. And we have really tried to get excellent board books for our increasing amount of very young subscribers - Friends is an interactive, playful book with simple colours and changing face in the centre, and Colin and Lee is a funny, uniquely told book about a carrot and a pea who, despite their differences are best friends.
This month all of our charity proceeds are going to The Banjamin Foundation, who help those with desperate needs. Not only is this a valuable and worthwhile charity, they will also be supporting the Bump and Beyond, where we'll be exhibiting next weekend. Do check them out by clicking on their picture below.
We also have two complimentary tickets to give away for aforementioned event. So if you live in the Norfolk area, why not check out our Facebook page for more details!
If you are not lucky enough to live in our beautiful home-county then there's still a giveaway for you! You can WIN a next month's happy package for FREE on her wonderful website. Check it out here!!
And finally (for now) do check out our themed activity suggestions over on Pinterest. If you have any suggestions, books, thoughts or photos, why not pop over to our new forum and get involved in our new online community.
Ok, I'm done now.
Time for a cup of tea. Have a great weekend..
