It's January - Be Brave!
It's January. A time for New Year's Resolutions and a time for being brave. So we've made this month's theme bravery.
We always try to do the right thing. Whether that's donate to good causes or to inspire certain reading behaviours. This month we're proud that our books are very inclusive - our books and crafts are neither gender specific nor do they focus on one particular colour of skin. My particular favourite is Little Red - a twist on the classic Little Red Riding Hood - but includes a little girl you definitely shouldn't mess with. I guess I want my little girl to be this brave when she's older!
This month we're also donating money to Bravery Boxes. This is such a wonderful, inspiring charity that aims to bring a little joy into the lvies of children who are seriously ill. Please do check out and see what work they do by clicking on the picture below.
We always encourage our readers to try some related ideas to get the most out of their books.
