#Top5Friday - Kids Books That Adults Find Funny
Here we are again. Another Friday, another #Top5Friday! Thanks as always to those people who got involved on Twitter. Below you'll find our selection plus a few other guest entries.
Next Friday at 8pm we'll be discussing the Top 5 Books that Celebrate Kindness as part of 'Random Acts of Kindness Day!'
Number 1 - The Pigeon Needs a Bath! by Mo Willems.
Our number 1 spot goes to Mo WIllems in general! This whole series is just brilliant. But he also has other excellent books such as Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed.
Number 2 - Don't Call Me Choochie Pooh! by Sean Taylor and Kate Hindley
Definitely one of our new favourites! Funny words that little ones can relate to. Difficult not to put on a silly voice for!
Number 3 - I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
Just an excellent trilogy and this is our pick of the bunch. Subtle, unexpected humour with simplistic illustrations. Will definitely put a smile on your face.
The Book With No Pictures by B.J. Novak
Who needs pictures when you've actions, colour and the funniest of words. Full of energy and fun. Plus B.J.Novak wrote the American version of The Office. So he knows what he's doing.
Hoot Owl - Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor and Jean Jullien
I found out about this book when a stranger in a library said you must read this. They were right. You must. Very funny.
And here are some extra suggestions from helpful Tweeters!
