#Top5Friday - Top 5 TV/Film Book Adaptations

A great week. Thank you so much to everyone who got involved. Below you will find our top 5 (a lot of people had similar posts!) but we have also added a few others too. We hope you like it. Feel free to join us next Friday for Top 5 Books That Are Funny for Adults!

Number 1 - Lost and Found (book written by Oliver Jeffers)

Beautiful, understated, sweet.

Lost and Found

Number 2 - Stick Man (book written by Julia Donaldson)

Yes it's Christmassy but who cares? A wonderful short film.

Stick Man

Number 3 - We're Going on a Bear Hunt (book written by Michael Rosen)

A great interpretation of the Michael Rosen classic

We're Going on a Bear Hunt

Number 4 - Thomas the Tank Engine (Book written by Wilbert Awdry)

If it was my choice, it's the older one. Annoyingly, if it's my daughter's choice it's the newer one. Even though there's no Ringo Star...

Number 5 - Room on the Broom (Book written byJulia Donaldson)

The second of our two Julia Donaldson/ Axel Scheffler short films. All of them are excellent but this one has Martin Clunes as the dragon...

I just wonder what TV adaptation will come next? Kind of hoping for Blown Away by Rob Biddulph.

Anyway, here are the best of the rest. Thank you so much especially to @BookBairn, @KEEcles and @AcornBooks for your contributions. Please do follow them on Twitter if you don't already. They know what they're talking about!
