Some Poetry Might Help?
As we've only just started, and as we're still trying to get the word out there that our products are beautiful, engaging and yours to treasure forever, we've tried lots of different marketing strategies. I thought, maybe, as we're promoting a love of books and language, that a couple of poems to might help to entice people to join.
So here goes:
*pause for effect.
This first one is called: Books.
Books
Books can be used for stories
Or reciting old fables
But can also be hats
Or used for wonky tables
Or maybe as a prop
For special magic tricks
Or used to build a wall
If you run out of bricks
They could cover up your face
If you're trying to hide
Or a skateboard for a tortoise
Or a hamster slide
They could be a shield
Or for curling or for a flag
Or to prop my head up
If I get jet lag
Although the thing that they're best for
Whatever the weather,
Is getting my mum, dad, friend, grandparents or pets,
And then reading a book together.
Corny Poem #1
Can you get more satisfaction
Than family interaction?
Or get more stimulation
When using imagination?
Indeed, to get this all,
To achieve all kinds of glory.
Just join the Happy Book Club
And read your child a story.
I was thinking of calling this one
Better Than Your Ex:
The Happy Book Club
Has beautiful books;
They're funny and charming
And have great looks.
You might decide you love them
And leave them for a while
But they'll always stick around
And be there to make you smile.
